The first birthday is one of the biggest milestones. It’s after this first birthday that your little one is entering the toddler stage. In fact, it’s one of the last big milestones of your baby before he enters the next phase of his little life. Whether it’s a cake smash with a bubble bath or the first birthday session with decorations, this is the time that you won’t want to miss.

• The cake is included with your session as a courtesy. We provide this service to you, to help a mom out, so she doesn't have to juggle placing the order, picking up the cake, and hauling the cake to the session. If your child has food allergies, for the safety of your child, we ask that you provide your own cake. If so, please let us know. 

• To include family in your session, an additional $30 family fee rate will apply. This is for one child only. However, for best results, it is recommended that they be booked separately. As babies/toddlers attention only last for a brief time. 

• If you choose a studio session, we have a large selection of backgrounds to choose from.

• We highly recommend a studio session over an outdoor session for this age, because of the following reasons. However, you know your child best, 

  • Outdoor sessions are only scheduled in the evening with the setting of the sun, about 1 hour before sunset for best lighting.​

  • Studio sessions can be scheduled anytime.

  • Most babies are happiest during the morning hours or right after their afternoon nap time. 

  • Due to the late schedule in the day for outdoor sessions, from my many years of experience, most babies are tired and not as happy that late in the day.

• If you have a themed session in mind, and we do not currently have a matching backdrop, we can completely customize your session for you with the purchase of the Ultimate package to match your theme. For a customized session you will need to book at least 4-6 weeks prior to your session date, to ensure we can get the backdrops and props delivered in time for your session, and pay 50% of the session fee when booking. We can do small customized sessions with no additional charge for the deluxe and premium package, such as balloon arch backgrounds, etc. 

• With all sessions you will have the option to purchase additional images.

• For on location sessions, the first 30 miles are included in your session. After 30 miles, a travel fee will apply. 

• If your child has allergy issues of any kind or sensitive stomach issues, for the safety of your child we ask that you provide your cake or choice of food for your cake smash session. If so, please let us now of your child's food allergies.

To schedule your session, there is a $50 non-refundable retainer fee required up front when booking. The non-refundable retainer fee is to book/hold your session date and is applied towards the total cost of your session.

Due to our very busy schedule, with both our small photography business and family life, our typical turnaround time averages about two weeks (three weeks for peak season of Spring and Fall), so be sure to book your date in plenty of time to get your pictures back for when you need them by.
